Leading Six Sigma (CIC0030e) Course Description: This course covers the critical leadership skills for managing Six Sigma projects, and leading change necessary for implementing Six Sigma company-wide.
Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to develop a level of understanding of the key Six Sigma methodologies and learn how they can be applied to significantly improve business performance. In addition, the MBB will learn how to lead, coach and accelerate Six Sigma implementation.

Change Management (MGT8499) Course Description: The purpose of this course is to explore the forces and benefits of change through market alignment and to understand the barriers and challenges that stand in the way of achieving alignment. Participants will be able to examine the predictable reaction patterns to change and learn to work with the power of paradigms and change responsiveness by design, adaptation, and involvement. The course will provide practical rules to work with at the point of change and key leadership practices necessary to manage individuals effectively and to reconstruct a team. Finally, participants will develop a personal action plan that will include specific work behaviors to benefit themselves and the organization in a transition.

Achieving Results Through People (MGT1001) Course Description: This two-day course gives you methods and tools to communicate, collaborate, and gain commitment from the people you lead and work with in order to satisfy your customer. In this highly interactive course you will explore the concepts of motivation and their application in the business environment today. You will be taught principles of persuasion and collaboration to use with individuals and across functional teams. You will identify ways to reduce communication overload and increase the communication critical to improved performance and the achievement of business objectives. Throughout the course you will apply these learnings to your current situation. You will leave this course with a workable plan of action for achieving results through your people.
Course Objectives: Upon completion, you will be able to: Business Development Institute I (EXE1015) Course Description: The Business Development Institute I is designed to accelerate the development of directors who will lead the organization to profitability. As a director you are charged with managing others and being accountable for overall business performance. You need business acumen and the ability to lead in turbulent times.
In this Business Development Institute you will come together off-site with others for a two day classroom-based intervention where you will be engaged in a business simulation, learn about leading in today’s challenging environment, and write an Action Plan describing changes you will make in your work role as a result of this Institute.

Tango Business Simulation (MGT8526) Course Description: Focusing on profitability while simultaneously managing both tangible and intangible assets is a significant challenge. In the Tango business simulation your team will run a company for five annual cycles, pursuing your business strategy in order to maximize profitability. Your team competes with others for the same customers and key personnel with the same goal in mind to be the highest valued company in your industry. Your team must match personnel and customers in different projects, recruit and attract the right people and the right customers, anticipate the competition’s response, and work well together as a management team. All of this must be accomplished while you manage the company’s cash flow. The simulation is designed for managers who manage and lead teams or individuals who manage processes or projects.
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: l Use a variety of financial metrics to manage cash flow l Measure and account for intangible assets in the balance sheet l Relate profitability to investments in employee competence and customer loyalty l Compete for and retain key customers and key personnel l Manage the costs and rewards of building image and reputation l Work as a team member to refine and adapt strategies in an evolving marketplace
Managing for Financial Success (MGT8453) Course Description This is a three-day finance management course that consists of two parts: Finance for Non-finance Managers (instructor-led) and The Game of Income & Outcome (simulation). In the first day, participants will review basic accounting and budgeting concepts, while in the second and third day they will apply such knowledge and skills in "running their own business" - through a two-day business simulation, through which participants can demonstrate not only basic accounting and budgeting skills, but also marketing/sales and strategic planning skills. This experience will enable participants to see dynamic demonstrations of cash flow and the need to cut costs to be competitive in the market place. Financial analysis tools (Cash Flow Forecasts, Budgets, Ratio Analysis) are presented in the context of improving results now.
